This morning all of the pastors met to discuss our
upcoming trip to Ohio. I will be traveling
with Bro. Charles Dykes to Cincinnati and from there
to Warren, Ohio, with Bro. Grady Crowell, our Associational
Missionary. I was able to have a long phone conversation
with Rev. Joe Sheely, the pastor I'll be staying with and
was pleasantly surprised that his theological interests
were very similar to mine. I'm looking forward to this
revival and pray that the Lord will use me mightily in
this effort.
I'm still seeing articles concerning Pope John Paul
II and the intense interest the world has shown since
his passing. Many Bible scholars are convinced this will
move us even closer and more swiftly to the one world
religion depicted in Revelation 17. Pope John Paul has
been more instrumental than any other person in history
in relation to ecumenicism as well as bringing the
Catholic church into the mainstream. Here are some
links that will shed further light on this subject.
The article by Hal Lindsey is especially interesting.
