Erdogan Sails Toward Armed Clash With Israel - Israel's Spoils at Stake

As many of you know, I am one who does not believe that Russia will take a leadership role in the Gog / Magog war. Will the be involved? In some ways yes, supply arms, advisors, etc. But I do not buy into the whole Russia Gog/Magog thing.

So who do I think will lead the war?

Turkey, They are clearly named.

Scripture says...

Eze 38:12  To take a spoil, and to take a prey; to turn thine hand upon the desolate places that are now inhabited, and upon the people that are gathered out of the nations, which have gotten cattle and goods, that dwell in the midst of the land.

Eze 38:13  Sheba, and Dedan, and the merchants of Tarshish, with all the young lions thereof, shall say unto thee, Art thou come to take a spoil? Hast thou gathered thy company to take a prey? To carry away silver and gold, to take away cattle and goods, to take a great spoil?

I believe that Turkey will unite with Persia, like it is stated in scripture and then lead a major battle against Israel.

Why do I say this?

This week Turkey and Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan, Turkey's Prime Minister have been taking some very provocative steps towards an armed clash with Israel.

See this really isnt over helping poor Gaza or the "plight of the Palestinians". It deals with one thing, Israel's spoils. Erdogan covets the gas and oil resources of the eastern Mediterranean opposite Israel's shores.

See Russia is the world's second largest producer of oil and gas, the oil and gas that Israel controls is not worth the effort for the little bit of "spoils" they would get out of an invasion.

Russia's GDP is $1.677 Trillion and they rate #8 in the world's richest countries (1)

Where Turkey their GDP is only $729.4 Billion and rate as #17 (1)

To make a comparison, Bill Gates, one of the riches men in the world, it would cost him more money to bend over and pick up a $100.00 bill as opposed to just leaving it where it lies.

The money he earns per second is $163.30.

The act of picking up a $100.00, which would take about 4-6 seconds makes the effort not cost effective. It would cost almost $1000.00 to pick up $100.00.

The same scenario that I have painted also shows why Russia is not interested in the spoils that Israel contain.

The return on investment is not there for Russia where it is favorable for Turkey.

Turkey Making Moves

On Sept. 8, Erdogan announced that Turkish warships will escort any Turkish aid vessels for the Palestinian people living in the Gaza.

In an interview with Al Jazeera television, Erdogan said he had taken steps "to stop Israel from unilaterally exploiting natural resources from the eastern Mediterranean."

Now he did not say what steps he has taken. But, he has taken quite a few steps to isolate Israel.

So if Turkish warships break through the Israel's Gaza blockade, which the UN said last week would be a "legitimate" attack under international law. Erdogan will become the first major Muslim leader to take military action "helping" the Palestinians.

What this will do is elevate Turkey and Erdogan in the eyes of Islam. Past actions made from some of the terrorist factions will look like nothing. Erdogan will become the hot new leader in the middle east.

Where many have been looking to Iran being the big bad wolf, their posturing has been pretty empty. I have been saying for a couple years now to look to Turkey to be the ultimate bad guy.

See Erdogan holds to the belief that Turkey will rise again as the foremost power in the Middle East. In other words, a return to the Caliphate.

Where the power has been Egypt and Saudi Arabia, Turkey is flexing some major muscle power and the rest of the middle east really have no choice except to go along with what Erdogan is positioning himself for.

DEBKAfile stated the following...

"The first crack in the Arab ice came about Thursday, Sept. 8, in the form of Egyptian consent to join the Turkish Navy in sea maneuvers in the eastern Mediterranean." (2)

It is Erdogan's plan to send Turkish warships into Israeli waters for two primary missions:

1. To split the Israel's small Navy into two heads – one for sustaining the blockade against Gaza and one for safeguarding the gas and oil rigs opposite its shores.

2.  To scare Israel into the full or partial stoppage of its offshore oil and gas operations, thereby robbing it of energy power status and substantial economic gains. Erdogan is determined never to let Israel overshadow Turkey in the regional stakes and will put a stop to the Jewish state's progress – even if military aggression is called for. (2)

DEBKAfile's military sources report that the Turkish prime minister is resolved to corner Israel into an inescapable military confrontation. The game of cat and mouse is on and we do know the outcome.

See this event may not happen at once or even within a week due to the ships sailing to Gaza. But we as watchmen on the wall know for a fact that it will happen, in fact many believe a lot sooner than many in the world and Israel currently believe.

It is very important that Turkey is seen as a major player in the middle east. In fact Erdogan and Turkey was "embarrassed" after sending large amounts of support to the Libyan rebels helping over throw Gaddafi.

How was Turkey embarrassed? It was British, French, Jordanian and Qatari special forces stormed Tripoli on Aug. 21 and overthrew the Qaddafi regime. Turkey after sending huge amounts of support was left out in the cold and the for mentioned got all the lime light as well as the "spoils" in Libian oil. To the victors went the spoils and in turn sold them to the west.

See, saving face is something that is very important in the middle east. Those invaders who took Tripoli also understood what they were doing to Erdogan and Turkey.

Erdogan needs to save face in a big way.

He can not get involved with what is going on in Syria, really not much "glory" there.

So What is Erdogan Going To Do?

He is going for the prize of the middle east. He has put Israel's oil and gas into his crosshairs.

If he does in fact go through with this, it will be a huge feather in his cap. In fact it will be so big that it will foreshadow any event that has taken place in the modern Middle East.

In doing this he is also thumbing his nose to Greece, which has been Turkey's biggest enemy in the area. Why this is another plus for Erdogan is that Greece and Israel have been creating some strong military ties. So not only will he be giving Israel a black eye, he is also slapping their arch enemy in the face as well.

So where does America fit with all of this at the moment?

I honestly believe that our Muslim president will back this military invasion. The president time and time again has shown that "we" side with the Palestinians and the growing support for an independent Palestinian state free of Israel.

Could this happen? I believe it could.

No matter what Israel is backed into a corner and it is quiet possible that they will be forced to accept compromise in lew of a full blown military conflict with Turkey appearing to the world to be the Palestinian's savior of the Gaza.

As I have said, stop looking to Russia when it is clear that Turkey is in fact taking the reigns of power in the middle east. All the other players in the middle east are forced to accept this power also. They will join with Turkey as scripture foretold.

In fact, here is something to ponder.

I believe that Iran will not nuke Isreal, not with Turkey's crosshairs on her. Iran can not match the might and power that Turkey currently wields.

Iran will use it's nuclear power against a sworn enemy of both Turkey and Iran, in fact much of the Muslim world.

It will use its newly found nuclear destruction against.... Saudi Arabia.

Say no all you want, but the Saudi family is hated for desecrating Mecca & Medina and they hate them for this more than they hate Israel "occupying" the land.
